disguised as a motorcycle show/thanks for giving fundraiser
The religious rightwing fringe at the Harley Davidson store in Carp will be hosting an "OPERATION FAMILY FUND"/motorcycle show/ fundraiser for the injured American soldiers and families. On the surface it sounds fantastic. However, look below the surface and the same old war mongering, chicken hawking Bush enablers are fast at work.
Apparently, after 5 years, the Bush Administration won't take care of the wounded and maimed vets from the war it started, so the likes of Dr. Laura have stepped into the spotlight, draped in the American flag and toting bibles, to raise money for the vets and their families..
Dr. Laura will offer herself to the "Dunking Machine" whereby you bid on a ball to throw at her bullseye as she sits perched above a tub of water... Normally these machines are great fun for CARNIVALS...
...since when are the deaths of troops subjected to this circus type atmosphere?? This is a right wing political ploy...
and where was OPERATION FAMILY FARCE or the Bushies when the troops needed better armor, more back-up and more support at home from the GOVERNMENT??

WHAT A RUSE!
Fundraisers like this prolong the war. Instead, these people should be working to end the war deaths of civlians, and the disastrous leadership of the Bush administration... what are we paying taxes for... it should be to take care of veterans and provide competent leadership!
Meanwhile, the real problem ..the fanatics in Pakistan and Afghanistan are growing bigger and more militant while we dick around in Iraq. Most of the “insurgents” are Iraqis fed up with America’s invasion!!
Be there Saturday, Dec 1st from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the corner of Via Real and Santa Claus lane/Padaro Lane to peacefully protest this farce!!
You can park on Santa Claus Lane and walk over. Of course they
will try to keep us out, so we just march on the sidewalks..no problem! and don't let them say you are unpatriotic for protesing the fundraiser...it's just a means to try and shut people up!!
All this benefits the chicken hawks. How much will they raise? A million towards one critically injured won't go far. Fund raisers always take a big chunk of the cash because the I'm great, I support the troops publicity is never enough. A photograph of a wet Dr. Laura could be good for laughs.

I will be snapping pics and posting on Sonny's Blog..however, to do this, I will have to pose as a pro-Laura, pro-war, pro-killing,
pro-rightwingthing, pro-fat smelly old Harley rider religious nut...no problem! Then I'll protest the Iraq invasion and misuse of our military by Bush..
