Just when I thought Dr. Laura was making strides at being an upstanding citizen, I hear about this...more shenanigans from a woman who has been cutting corners all her life, trying so, so so hard to be a winner..but we all know the sad truth....cheaters never win..

Reports surfaced this week about a controversy involving Dr. Laura Schlessinger.

Last weekend, Dr. Laura participated in a regatta run by the California Yacht Club. Sources tell us she accidentally sailed the wrong course because of a changed weather mark — which gave her a 2nd place finish — but she still refused to drop out of the race because it would hurt her chances of winning the competition!

Sources say Dr. Laura was competing in a series of races and anything less than second place would hurt her overall chances. They claim she initially would not hand over her title, but after many in the competition cried foul she reneged.

Now Go..Do the Rightwing Thing!!!

Back in the High Life...Again

a party to crash on Sunday!!!

Actually, I didn't have to crash the party. Instead, I showed up as a pretend Republican: clean golf shorts, a turtleneck and a camera...I looked like a friggin' tourist from Orange County! That's why, I guess, everyone was smiling at me when I approached them. Or maybe, I got conservatives all wrong. I like conservatives. I have conservative tendencies..just not the fringewing perspective. I walk in and it's a freebie..food everywhere..cool! The Biltmore is a beautiful place..especially if you are white and wealthy. I felt like I was in money cocoon..safe and warm. I tried to act like an outsider and cause some trouble, but it would be like shooting ducks in a barrel..these folks just seemed so harmless. That's why they are going to get slaughtered in the elections...they all think alike!!

I saw Mary Belle Snow, the organizer of the event. Then there was Andy Granatelli, the race car driver, putting around on his little scooter...then David Horowitz, a real nut who was hosting the "David Horowitz Freedom Lunch"..I already know what he was going to say during the lunch, so I didn't stay ‘cos there’s really no free lunch!

I was going to pop him in the nose when I saw him..but...he's short! Only about 5'2"! I don't pick on little guys..so I let him off, he looked miserable enough, like a little penguin looking for approval from his cohorts.. I heard a few guys talking about Scott McClellan's new book and about Valerie Plame....the enemy is the left democrats more so than the terrorists... but their biggest enemy is...themselves!
